Short Synopsis

My technical experience includes computational analysis and modelling based on machine learning methods, as well as lab testing of reverse osmosis membranes. Lab experimentation includes RO membrane modification via polymer chain grafting preceded by atmospheric pressure air plasma treatment, membrane surface characterization via atomic force microscopy, and membrane performance characterization in plate and frame systems.
My current research focuses on studying how various system operational parameters, feed water properties, membrane properties affect changes in both the absolute and relative solute transmembrane passage of various monovalent solutes — and how this knowledge can be used in the design and operation of water treatment systems.
